Free Shipping Allowance
All orders exceeding the minimum dollar value for Free Shipping will receive a Free Shipping Allowance. In our experience this allowance covers the vast majority of orders. However, products that are heavy such as glass jars or bulky (containers, gift baskets, filler etc.) may incur some shipping charges. Excludes out of stock items. Customer is responsible for special delivery charges including, but not limited to: express shipping, residential delivery, tailgate service, waiting time etc. Based on your location and order size, you can qualify for Free Shipping Allowance. We ship via CANPAR ground. Minimum Shipping Charges are $15 per order. It takes approximately 2 - 3 working days for delivery in Ontario and Quebec and 5 - 7 days elsewhere. It may take longer during the busy Christmas Season. Insurance and handling will be added to shipping charges. An e-mail will be sent the day your order is shipped along with a tracking number and estimated arrival date. Larger orders may be shipped via truck at our discretion. Customer is responsible for tailgate if shipping dock is not available. In the event that an incorrect ship to address is provided and not corrected prior to order shipping, there will be a fee per box/pallet based on carriers’ current surcharges/fees. Customers are responsible for any shipping fees incurred due to refusal without prior authorization.

Warm Weather Shipping
During summer months we can ship chocolate products to customers in Ontario and Quebec only with one-day transit time. We charge $4 per case for ice packs.
If an item is out of stock, we will try to contact you for substitutes and hold the order until noon the next business day. Please provide your daytime or cell phone number to expedite your order.
We do not keep back orders. Please reorder.
No returns without prior authorization. We will arrange for a pickup if products are shipped in error otherwise all authorized returns must be prepaid. Due to the nature of food products, we DO NOT accept returns. A 20% re-stocking charge is applied on non-food items that must be returned within 7 days. No returns on seasonal items. Customers are responsible for any shipping fees incurred, due to the refusal of an order, without prior authorization.
Claims for Shortages/Damages
All damages should be reported immediately to the Carrier Company. Depending on the nature of the complaint we may have the damaged goods picked up for further investigation. DO NOT dispose of these items without authorization. All short shipments or discrepancies should be reported immediately via fax or email to us. For any damages or shortages reported, it is at SAKSCO’s discretion to replace the items or issue a refund.
We take special care in selecting items that have extended shelf life, including cheese and sausages. Minimum guaranteed shelf life of items is as follows:
a) Shipped Sept-Dec: Early next year
b) Shipped Jan-Aug: 60 days
If there are any deviations from above, we will seek your approval before shipping.
